Building the Boutique

So, I’ve got this awesome new gig (which I’ll talk about in the very new future–sit tight!) with a local media company and we’re launching an online magazine. We have a staff of fashion & beauty writers but we’re missing one major piece of the puzzle…a men’s fashion writer! Anyone out there interested? Here’s a bit of information on the gig:

All writers are required to write one 400+ word article once per week on a specific day. Men’s fashion writers must be well versed in mens fashion trends and should be able to report on trends, news and do layouts of “style stories”. If you can also cover mens beauty/skincare/haircare every once in a while, it’s a plus!

Writers will receive a by line, bio box and a link to their business or blog. If you’re a student, ask us about school credit.

If interested send an overview of your experience and a relevant writing sample to dailyfashionjob@gmail.com. Oh, and we’re also looking for writers in other categories (health, lifestyle, entertainment, etc).

Oh looksy, I’m launching another new project!

Some of you might already know that I also run a site called DailyFashionJobs.com (an internship/job posting blog). I’m expanding that site into a network of blogs, actually, and next month we’ll be launching the first of the two new blogs we have planned. That site will be called DailyFashionDiaries.com and it will be all about chronicling the daily fashion lives of five young fashion students/interns and entry level fashionistas. Right now I’m scouting blogging interns to be a part of the website — we have one already, and I have my eye on a couple of others. Want one of the last spots?
