Kim is a 25 year old entrepreneur who has been obsessed with fashion and all things creative from a young age. But unlike many fashionista’s, she started by honing her skills in the tech field by building websites, blogging and affiliate marketing as a teenager. For five years she was the owner of the successful celebrity gossip blog GirlsTalkinSmack.com and is still the owner DailyFashionJobs.com. Kim is also a professional freelance writer — she worked as Oxygen Media’s celebrity gossip columnist for their now defunct social network Oomph.net, and has also been published in several nationally distributed print magazines, including Beckett Media’s Teen Sensations. She is currently the editor of a local bridal magazine.

Her fashion career began in 2005 when she enrolled in the Fashion Merchandise Product Development course at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in downtown LA. After graduation she decided to pursue a career as a boutique owner by opening OohLaLuxe.com in 2007. In addition to running her store, she also consults and works as a freelance buyer for other up and coming boutiques, and is building a styling portfolio.

In the future, she looks forward to growing all of her business ventures and design her own clothing line. She looks forward to any creative opportunities that come her way.

“I would like my boutique to be an extension of my closet.  I’m the girl who’s always a little more dressed up than everyone else.  I call my look “casual glamour”; wearing heels to the supermarket if normal if you ask me.”
